Objects, Games & Ritual

Making with my hands

Some ideas need to become material — something that can be held, played with, exchanged, carried into ritual, or left on a table between people.

I also make things that do not fit neatly into photography or writing: Chinese calligraphy, ritual objects, handmade offerings, and experimental board games.

I am interested in what happens when an idea becomes material. These practices are not separate from the rest of the work — they are different ways of paying attention, making meaning, and caring for what we love.

Board Games

Games in development

I am developing several board games. This section will eventually hold individual game projects — photographs of prototypes, descriptions of mechanics, and development notes.

For now, the work is in progress. More here as the games take shape.

Bamboo Toy-Making

Bamboo toy-making workshops

I offer bamboo toy-making workshops. This section will grow to include workshop descriptions, images, intended audiences and contexts, and upcoming opportunities.

If you are interested in hosting or attending a workshop, get in touch.

Calligraphy

Calligraphy workshops

I offer calligraphy workshops. This section will include a workshop introduction, visual examples, and future dates and details as they are confirmed.

If you are curious about calligraphy or would like to explore it in a workshop setting, I would love to hear from you.

Get in touch

Whether you are interested in a workshop, a game collaboration, or something harder to name — I would love to hear from you.

Please don't include highly sensitive or urgent clinical information in this form. If you're contacting me about counselling, a brief note is plenty.

How would you prefer I reply?
