Session
A booking includes one 15-minute Community Mini Portraits & Headshots session and five edited digital photographs.
The confirmed date, time and location are those shown in the booking confirmation.
Session fee and Wayward contribution
The minimum session fee is $100 CAD. Clients may choose a higher sliding-scale amount offered through the booking page or enter another permitted amount above the minimum.
Allied Wellness contributes 50% of each photography session fee to Wayward Therapy Foundation.
Payment is for a photography service. It is not a charitable donation and no charitable tax receipt will be issued.
Wayward Therapy Foundation is the beneficiary of the contribution and is not the provider of the photography service.
Cancellation and rescheduling
More than 24 hours before the scheduled session: the client may reschedule into another available Community Mini slot or request a full refund.
Within 24 hours: the session fee is non-refundable, but the client may transfer the appointment to another person by contacting Allied Wellness before the appointment.
If Allied Wellness cancels, or weather, access, safety, illness or another circumstance prevents the session from going ahead, the client may choose an available replacement session or receive a full refund.
These terms do not affect any rights the client has under applicable law.
Late arrival and missed sessions
Sessions are scheduled closely together. Arriving late does not extend the scheduled end time.
Where practical, the photographer will use the remaining session time.
Arrival more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start may be treated as a missed session and the session fee may be non-refundable.
Outdoor locations, weather and access
Sessions may take place outdoors and can involve ordinary outdoor conditions such as uneven or slippery ground, roots, rocks, water edges, changing weather and other natural conditions.
Clients should use reasonable care, wear suitable footwear and clothing, and supervise minors in their care.
Clients should communicate accessibility or mobility needs in advance. Allied Wellness will make reasonable efforts to accommodate access needs where possible.
A planned location may need to be changed, relocated nearby, shortened or rescheduled because of weather, access, site conditions or safety concerns.
Photography and artistic discretion
Final image selection, composition, editing and photographic style remain within the photographer's artistic discretion and will be generally consistent with the work represented by Allied Wellness.
Five final edited photographs are included. RAW or unedited files are not provided.
Image delivery
Final photographs will normally be delivered electronically to the booking email within 14 calendar days of the session.
If unusual circumstances will delay delivery, Allied Wellness will contact the client.
Client use of delivered photographs
The client may download, print and share the delivered photographs for personal use and ordinary personal professional use, including professional profiles, biographies, portfolios, CV/resume materials, personal websites and social media.
Copyright in the photographs remains with the photographer.
The photographs may not be resold, sublicensed or supplied for third-party commercial advertising without written permission from Allied Wellness.
Technical failure and inability to perform
If Allied Wellness is unable to provide the session or the promised photographs because of illness, equipment failure or another circumstance, the client will be offered a replacement session or a full refund.
Children and minors
A parent or legal guardian must book on behalf of a participant under 19 and must remain responsible for the child during the session.
Photo-use consent
Purchasing or participating in a session does not itself give Allied Wellness or Wayward Therapy Foundation permission to publish identifiable photographs.
Public use of photographs depends on the separate photo-use consent selected during booking. A selection of "keep private" means those photographs will remain private.
Privacy
Booking information will be used to administer the session, process payment, communicate with the client, deliver photographs, maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
Information may be processed by service providers used for booking, payment, email and digital gallery delivery. Personal information will not be sold or used for unrelated marketing.
